Crownwise Ltd. is led by its sole Director, Ruma Luckeenarain, who brings over 40 years of experience supporting older adults and individuals with mental health needs. Her leadership is grounded in a strong commitment to person-centred care, mental wellbeing, and dignity in senior care services.
Ruma holds a BSc and MPhil in Psychology (Applied to Medicine) from King’s College London and is a qualified Teacher/Practitioner in Mindfulness (The Devon School of Mindfulness / Mindfulness Now). She also holds a City & Guilds qualification in Catering, supporting Crownwise Ltd.’s focus on high-quality nutrition alongside compassionate care.
A dedicated philanthropist, Ruma has raised funds for children with disabilities in Mauritius and supported older people in the UK. She was crowned Miss Mauritius UK in 1986 and won the Sega Championship in 1985, using these achievements to support charitable causes, including performances at the Commonwealth celebrations at Crystal Palace Football Ground.
